Dan Larsen

Owner & General Manager

Specialty Areas:  Intuitive Counseling, Energy Work, Applied Kinesiology, Allergy Elimination, Epigenetics, Floatation Therapy, Salt Wrangling

Dan wears many hats at Oly Float & The Soul Space. He is co-owner of the center, as well as its “Chief Experience Officer” and General Manager. Alongside serving as an experienced float guide, Dan is also a counselor and energy worker with Intuitive Being.  Through Intuitive Being, he offers a range of wellness and energy work services designed to free you of your emotional baggage; re-pattern core beliefs; align body, mind and soul; and help you remember your true self that existed prior to challenging or traumatic experiences that changed how you thought about yourself. He employs a variety of healing modalities to perform clearings or corrections for those imbalances, including sound healing; electromagnetic stimulation; hands-on healing that includes reiki and qigong; light therapy, and more.  He works with the mind, as a focused generator of energy, and its influence in all aspects of our being. He loves helping people with chronic, difficult states and conditions that other therapies have been unable to heal or resolve, and curating and offering a tool as unique and powerful as float tanks falls right in line with that purpose.  He’s also a passionate advocate for entheogenic medicines and loves working with people for pre-ceremony preparation and/or post-ceremony integration work.

Taryn Marchie

Owner & General Manager

Taryn Marchie

Specialty Areas:  Float Center Management, Office Wizardry

Taryn first came to float therapy during a season of burnout, not really knowing what she needed, just knowing she couldn’t keep going the way she was. That first float was a turning point for her. It gave her something she didn’t know she was missing—quiet, weightlessness, a moment to breathe. She walked out feeling like her nervous system had been reset.

Now, she gets to be part of creating that space for others. Whether you’re here because you’re exhausted, overstimulated, postpartum, in chronic pain, or just craving peace—you’re welcome here.

Outside the float center, she’s a mom, a teacher, and a small business owner with a full (and sometimes chaotic) life. She believes healing doesn’t have to be fancy or perfect—it just has to feel safe, supportive, and real. That’s the space we try to hold at Oly Float. She hopes you find what you need here—even if it’s just one deep breath.

A longtime practitioner of Buddhist meditation and member of a local sangha, she has a gift for making people feel instantly seen and safe—whether she’s welcoming them at the front desk or guiding them through a healing experience.

Her warm voice, intuitive nature, and contagious smile create an atmosphere of ease and connection. From the tea lounge to the float tanks, Roya holds space with care, humor, and authenticity.

Emily Rose

Float Guide

Emily Diser, Oly Float

Specialty Areas:  Float Center Operations, Front Desk Wizardy

Emily brings an extraordinary depth of compassion and calm to the Oly Float team, shaped by years of serving others during their most tender and difficult moments. With a decade of experience in death care—including roles as a morgue technician, crime scene cleanup specialist, and mortuary supervisor—Emily has developed an exceptional ability to hold space, offer comfort, and remain grounded amidst intensity. Now, she channels that same heartfelt dedication into supporting others on their path to healing and self-care.

Though naturally quiet and thoughtful, Emily has a sharp wit and a dry sense of humor that catches you delightfully off-guard. She’s deeply committed to community care and loves creating a safe, restorative environment for every guest she meets. Outside of Oly Float, you might find her lacing up for roller derby—fierce on wheels and full of heart.

Holly Anderson

Float Guide

Specialty Areas:  Float Center Operations, Front Desk Wizardy

Holly is our resident Yoga, Meditation, & Myofascial Release Teacher and a long-time rest advocate who has been floating with us since 2016. She loves to help cultivate space for folks to commit to the self-care practices that help them find true and deep rest and restoration, whether it be in meditation, yoga, or while drifting through the liminal space that resting in a float tank provides. The same compassion, care, and grounded energy that she brings to her yoga teaching, is the same energy she hopes to offer anyone who walks through the quaint arched doorway of our special oasis right here in Olympia.

When Holly isn’t working here, at the yoga studio, or making herbal goodies for her apothecary,  Shuskan Wellness, you might find her off on some sort of adventure in the mountains or jetting across the world to lead yoga retreats.

Savannah Burton

Float Guide

Savannah Burton, Oly Float

Specialty Areas:  Float Center Operations, Front Desk Wizardy

Savannah has been a steady, caring presence at Oly Float longer than anyone else on the team. With her gentle spirit and quietly radiant energy, she brings a groundedness to the space that guests can feel the moment they walk through the door. An empathetic listener and thoughtful soul, Savannah is someone who holds space with grace—never in a rush, always fully present.

In addition to her work at Oly Float, Savannah nurtures her community in many ways: as a beloved nanny, and through her past work at New Traditions, our local fair trade boutique known for its artisan goods and community heartbeat. Like a gentle flower, Savannah’s warmth may unfold slowly—but it lingers long after you’ve left the room.

Shayne Noble

Float Guide

Shayne Noble, Oly Float

Specialty Areas:  Float Center Operations, Front Desk Wizardy

Shayne grew up in the PNW, always within view of Mt. Rainier and a stones throw away from the Puget Sound. Her local environment, combined with her parents’ love of the outdoors, fostered a deep sense of appreciation for nature and the mental and physical benefits gained from being immersed in it. When Shayne isn’t at Oly Float she loves camping, hiking, riding her bicycle, and backpacking as much as possible. She also has played the violin for over two decades and in the last couple of years she developed a love for fiddling. Mental health and fostering community are two things very important to her and she’s felt right at home working here at Oly Float where she has the opportunity to help facilitate both. It’s been a great joy for Shayne to serve her local community and welcome everyone who comes through the door.

Brookelle O'Riley

Licensed Massage Therapist

Specialty Areas:  Massage Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki

Brookelle is an intuitive bodyworker who weaves energetic principles into her understanding of the anatomical structure of the body. She has trained in various modalities at Alexander’s School of Natural Therapeutics, True Self Yoga, Morter Institute for BioEnergetics, and is continuing her education of Mindbody Medicine studies at the Evergreen State College. She combines modern science and traditional healing modalities for the deepest healing possible. To give clients a uniquely personalized session, her touch shifts seamlessly between being deep and pinpointed when warranted or soft and fluid when needed. Her goal is to help others achieve personal optimization and general wellbeing through pain management, stress relief, and revitalized energy. Using techniques like Myofascial Trigger Point Release, Cupping, Gua Sha, stretching, deep tissue, Swedish Relaxation Massage and Structural Integration, she works with clients to get to the root cause of symptoms in order to address the issues stored in the body’s tissues and to promote sustained, long term healing.

In her free time, Brookelle is an avid yoga and meditation practitioner who has a deep passion for this earth, loving all things outdoors, she enjoys hiking and biking, and makes time for volunteering to give back to the community. Her mission is to expand her knowledge on bodily healing by pursuing a master’s degree at Bastyr Center for Ayurvedic Medicine, so a substantial amount of time is happily spent with her studies and body centered practices. She hopes to one day be certified to share breathwork, nutrition, and meditation into her practice and currently she happily offers Yoga self care tips and individual Yoga sessions with her training through True Self as a certified Yoga teacher. Brookelle came to this line of work as a result of dealing with her own chronic body pain in the form of scoliosis. After receiving the relief the healing touch that body work can provide, she knew she had to share this work with others. Massage and body work gave her freedom, connection, and purpose that she feels a humble passion about sharing with others.

Colleen Heisey

Licensed Massage Therapist

Specialty Areas:  Massage Therapy

Colleen’s calling in life is to be an artist of many forms. Her work in life begins with the belief that the body holds the story of our lives and constantly evolves. Through reconnecting to our earthly vessel, we remember the wisdom within. Through intentional bodywork, she promotes a rooted remembering of what may have been lost or forgotten~ how to slow down, soften, and return to the natural state of our free flowing energy in the body. Colleen offers deep bodywork, in Swedish style flow mixed with trigger point and by the end of 2025 Zen Body Therapy. Her work aims to bridge structure and spirit so there may be a sense of safety in the body to simply be in presence.

She studied diverse techniques of bodywork at Alexandar’s School of Natural Therapeutics in Tacoma, WA, and will grow into adding modalities of sound healing and energy work.  She continues to give time towards her eternal education of western herbology, Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, and the Dao.

Outside the treatment room she can be found playing or praying in the woods. This includes: listening to the rhythm of the earth beneath the surface and in the wind, learning the gifts of plants, hiking, mountain biking, oil painting, or doing cozy and messy crafts in her home.

"This is by far the best massage I’ve ever had. Colleen really helped and held space for my body to release tension without forcing it. I will definitely be back more regularly. I’ve done the fire & ice as well which was great. I look forward to floating too since we’re not new to that either! I’m so glad this place exists."

Carlie Lubbesmeyer

Licensed Massage Therapist

Specialty Areas:  Massage Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy

Life led Carlie to massage school back in the beginning of 2023 and she found herself truly falling in love with this craft. She believes it is a genuine honor to be a part of the healing journey for each individual she gets to work with. Her treatment philosophy is that every single body has the ability to heal on its own and that her role is only to facilitate that process. Whether your body needs relaxation, deep trigger point targeting, or a satisfying mix of both, she’s excited to help you create long term change.

Megan Hart

Somatic & Embodiment Coaching

Specialty Areas:  Somatic Coaching

Megan received her BA in Psychology & Ethnobotany in 2005 and went on to work for a Hypnotherapy company for 11+ years. She knew from a young age that she wanted to help people heal, evolve and live deeply fulfilling lives, while first healing much of her own codependency, self-abandonment, people-pleasing, dissociation & disembodiment.Over time she started noticing substantial gaps in the fields of psychology & hypnotherapy. Concurrently on her own spiritual journey, Megan explored many avenues of spirituality, however never quite satisfied with the subtle rejections of self that many religions carry or the overt emotional bypassing that is common in our modern world.

Through a series of synchronicities, Megan discovered the world of embodiment. Quickly she realized that somatic work ‘plugged’ the gaps that were missing in much of traditional psychology, religion & hypnotherapy.

Megan is known for her nurturing demeanor, artfully weaving together the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical bodies in her work. Through somatic techniques, she gently-yet-profoundly empowers her clients to uncover the answers they are seeking within themselves. She also teaches yoga (trained at True Self Yoga) and is a practitioner of Nondual Saiva Tantra. She’s a lover of nature and currently learning Flamenco for fun.

Megan loves to work with clients one on one and also offers Somatic Coaching for Couples

Please note that sessions with Megan are typically conducted via Zoom, unless specifically coordinated with Megan ahead of time to be in person at The Soul Space.

"Megan draws from a wealth of philosophical concepts, established science, and esoteric practices to help me navigate both my internal world and in the shared world. The premise of 'embodied knowledge' is that your body has the wisdom to answer your questions. Megan has a real skill in guiding your (re-)discovery.""

"After reading about embodiment coaching, I knew this was what I was looking for. I needed help working through old patterns, not by diving (yet again) into my mind, but by listening to my body’s innate wisdom. Megan helped me find my own answers using simple, gentle & highly effective methods."

"I felt so liberated. I would 1000% recommend Emma for anything she can assist you with, but especially if you’re having any self love, relationship issues, love life, intimacy issues. Emma is your go to girl because the way that she holds space, doesn’t pass any judgement, and allows you to express yourself fully. She understands you, she’s there to reaffirm you, and makes you know just how powerful you truly are and she does it in a safe, loving way. "
Theresa Sanchez

"With Emma's help, I finally understood how my past was connected to my situation and in that understanding I was free. The techniques that Emma used helped me release the old beliefs, thoughts, and emotions that I had been holding onto since I was a child. I rarely shed tears but I cried and it was such a relief. Ever since my session with Emma, I am confident, hopeful, and strong. But most importantly, I feel renewed and open to finally finding the love that I have been seeking my whole life and that's only because Emma helped me find that love for myself. I have never felt more comfortable in my vulnerability than I felt with Emma. She holds the space in a way that only true healers do which makes it the perfect environment to do the work."
Miguel Vila
Miguel Vila
"My RTT experience with Emma Heywood was profound, to say the least. I was taken back to memories that I hadn't thought about in years, and she guided me through these memories in a way that recontextualized the emotions that I had experienced. I now have a deeper understanding of the defense mechanisms that I developed to protect myself in early childhood and how this no longer serves me. In two hours I was able to open up and address issues that I have been dealing with on a deeper level than ever before. Not only would I highly recommend RTT but I would also highly recommend choosing Emma for your practitioner. She was a calm, grounded, confident guide through my subconscious, she made me feel safe the whole time while allowing me to do the work.”
