Olympia's best massage.
Olympia's most relaxing self-care sanctuary.

Receiving massage and body work at The Soul Space is is not your average massage experience.  We recruit our community’s best massage therapists and offer their services within the most relaxing and grounding self-care environment you’ll find in our city.   Whether it’s a general relaxation experience you’re seeking, or deeper healing work at a physical or emotional level, we have the most talented and dedicated therapists whose passion is to help you reach those goals, unwind all the tensions that life in our culture creates, and get you centered, reset and renewed, ready to live life in a body that feels great.  We take great pride in the team we have available to assist you in your healing, and our hundreds of 5-star reviews reflect it.

When combined with our other deeply regenerative services – floatation therapy, sauna, skin care, counseling, energy work and acupuncture – the compounded effects of the body work we offer our Oly community become particularly powerful and will leave you feeling reset at a depth you didn’t think was possible.

Multi-Disciplinary Skillsets: All of our massage therapists are trained and skilled in all major modes of massage.  Swedish, deep tissue, injury treatment … just let us know what you need and want.

No Up-Selling, Ever: We don’t believe in trying to sell you stuff while you’re relaxed and vulnerable. It’s kind of predatory. So everything is included as part of the service. Cupping, gua sha, hot stones, aromatherapy, hot towels, all included for free.

The Times You Need: We offer 60 minute, 90 minute and full two hour body work sessions, so you can go as deep as you want to.  And we’re open till 9pm, so we have lots of relaxed pre-bedtime spots available for you.

"What an incredible experience! I visited Oly Float for a Float & Massage package, and my first float did not disappoint. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the serene and inviting atmosphere. My massage therapist, Caroline, was fantastic. She created a calming environment and seemed to know exactly what my body needed. After discussing my physical activities and areas of pain, she intuitively tailored the massage to address my concerns. I haven’t experienced such a skilled massage in years; it was everything I had hoped for. Caroline was amazing, and I will definitely request her again."

"This was one of the best experiences I’ve had. It was a float and massage package. A first time float and a longtime since my last massage! Excellent quality, very professional but with a warm and welcoming vibe about the staff and the rooms. Excellent communications before I booked the appointment, during my visit, and after.

I just can’t believe what an amazing experience it was! I will definitely book both again in the near future! Highly recommended!"

"Oly Float is so wonderful, I just had to take the time to write a review. I had a massage with Katie yesterday and it was one of the best massages I've ever received. I feel so much better today, I have been amazed at my improved mobility and decreased chronic pain. I followed my massage with a float and I can not recommend it enough! As a person who suffers from frequent migraines, the deep dark silence was medicine for my soul!! Total reset for body mind & spirit. 5 stars 🤩✨"

"I came in with such a sore back I could hardly move! Everyone was so kind and attentive, and my massage therapist (she is new and so awesome!) took time to talk about what I hoped to get out of the deep tissue massage therapy session I knew we were on the same page before even beginning. The experience was amazing; she put all her energy and skills into working the pain out of my back, and recommended follow-up treatment for afterwards. I know my healing process started here."

Grief Massage

Grief can often leave us feeling unstable, out of sync, irrational, numb, and many other things. Grief massage is an intentional and gentle modality which puts the mind and body into a state that allows for the safe processing of grief that is being experienced and held in the physical body.  Learn More.

Pre-Natal / Pregnancy Massage

Prenatal massage can help relieve many of the aches and pains that occur during pregnancy, such as backaches, leg cramps, fatigued muscles, stress on joints from extra weight, headaches and edema. Massage helps induce a relaxed parasympathetic state, which is great for mother and baby alike. Consider combining a massage with a float session too; floating can be an incredible therapy for pregnancy.

Dynamic Cupping

Massage cupping is essentially the inverse of the typical massage therapy. Instead of exerting pressure on different points of the body for healing, massage cupping uses suction to tug the skin, tissues and muscles upwards, and can then glide and move adhesions in a way sometimes not available to regular massage techniques. Massage cupping has been known to be used over the centuries by all cultures and the oldest records of traditional Chinese medicine talk about using the therapy to cure a range of ailments. In contemporary times, massage cupping is seen as an effective, non-invasive, inexpensive, and safe form of treatment.

Hot Stone Therapy

Imagine your massage therapist’s hands suddenly getting really hot and that heat penetrating deeply into your muscles as they glide through stiffness and adhesions.  That’s how hot stone therapy works.  Smooth, flat, heated stones made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat, are heated to between 130 and 145 degrees and oiled for a deeply pleasant and effective additional massage technique.

Hot Towels

Hot towel therapy can be used to bring in extra heat to areas needing deeper natural relaxation before being manually massage.  Not only incredibly pleasant to experience, this can also make your massage that much more effective.  Any part of the body might have hot towels used to relax the tissues, but they’re often used on feet, face and for traction on the neck.

Float & Massage

The Soul Space is the only place in Olympia where you can take advantage of combining two of the most relaxing therapies: a massage and a luxurious float in a zero gravity environment.  It’s an incredible pairing.

If you float before you get a massage, your muscles, tendons and nervous system are already deeply relaxed, making the massage so much more enjoyable, since adhesions and tight spots are already softened, and the results of the massage so much more impactful.

If you haven’t floated before and are feeling a little anxious about it, getting a massage before your float is great way of allowing your mind and nerves to settle and relax significantly before you transition into your float experience.

People love to combine them, and make the duo a regular part of their self-care routine.  We also offer discounted pricing on the pairing.
